Cricket World Cup Points Table 2015

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool Stage
World Cup 2015 will see 14 teams this time divided in the following two pools with 7 teams in each pool, Pool A and Pool B in Cricket World Cup 2015. Each team plays 6 matches in the same pool. 11 teams will be joined by 3 teams qualified through World Cup Qualifiers. Based on standings in the points table, teams will proceed to play quarter-finals before playing semis, also known as super eight stage and then the finals. A1 from Pool A play first quarter-final against B4 from Pool B, A2 plays against B3 in 2nd quarter-final, A3 against B2 in third and A4 from Pool A against B1 in Pool B in fourth quarter-final. The winner of the finals shall be crowned cricket world champions. India are the defending champions, having won the 2011 edition.
